Greatest Hits and New CD releases pushed back.
Februaury 26, 1999. I recently called Virgin Records, and Mercury Records about release dates of the new cd's. The Mercury release has been pushed back due to the Mercury Records merger with smaller record labels. Even though Paula is an artist not afiliated with this merger, her cd release is being put on hold until Mercury gets this merger worked out. They said the cd will be released soon. Virgin Records has pushed back their release of the Greatest Hits cd. They expect a release around June.
Virgin releasing Greatest Hits CD.
January 8, 1999. The long awaited greatest hits
cd for Paula is about to arrive. Virgin Records has decided
to release the greatest hits collection and is due for
release in March. The cd is to feature 3 brand new tracks.
Paula appears on the Donnie and Marie Show.
January 13, 1999. Paula will be making a
appearance on the morning talk show, Donnie and Marie. This
will be Paula's first time appearing on the show. Hopefully
she will be talking about the release of her new CD..Please

Paula appears as a presenter on the AMA's.
January 9, 1999. Paula Abdul will be making an
appearance on this years 26 Annual American Music Awards.
Paula will be appearing on the awards show as a presenter.
It has been reported that she will be presenting an award
with Singer/Actress Cher. The award Paula is going to be

Paula Appears On Chicken Soup For The Soul
December 14, 1998. Paula appeared on "Chicken
Soup For The Soul" on December 14th on the PAXTV network.
It was a Christmas special where Paula appeared and had a
small part. The show will re-air again at a later date!!
Paula Co-Hosts VH1 Golf Tournament
November 21, 1998. Paula Abdul co-hosted,
interviewed players, and played golf herself on VH1's golf
tournament called Fairway To Heaven V. Paula interviewed
many famous celebrities in the tournament from the likes of
Terri Hatcher and Alice Cooper. Paula played a little golf
in this star studded event by admitting that she is a
beginner and that she really sucked!! She admitted that her
golf career was short lived. Paula brought a few laughs and
alot of enjoyment to the event. VH1 will be airing the

Paula to appear on Spin City
October 10, 1998-Paula will make a cameo appearance
on the ABC sitcom Spin City. Paula will be portraying one
of Michael's ex- girlfriends. The show will also have guest
appearances by Courtney Thorne-Smith and Daphne Zuniga. The
episode will air on October 20, 1998 at 9pm.
Paula appears on Regis and Kathy Lee
September 30, 1998- Paula Abdul appears on Regis
and Kathy Lee taking about her new plans comming for the
future. Paula will be starring in a Broadway play named
"Sweet Charity." Paula is currently in the studio finishing
her new album which is scheduled to be released in January

Paula to host Company Dance Championships on
ESPN-
September 27, 1998.Paula will be hosting the Company
Dance National Championships on October 5th on ESPN. The
show will air at 10pm Eastern time. It will be shown at 7pm
on the West coast! The show will also air on October 8th
and October 11th. The Championships were taped from Orlando
Florida.
Paula to release new workout videos in October-
September 1998. Paula is to be releasing new workout
video in October. The name of the fitness video is called
Cardio Dance and will be hitting the stores on October 31,
1998. So check a Blockbuster near you!!!
Paula appears on The Howie Mandel Show-
August 1998. Paula makes an appearance on The Howie Mandel
Show to promote her Company Dance Compitition. Paula also
told a funny story about how she left a blind date at a
resteraunt for picking at her food. There are no updates on
when the episode will be re shown. Paula also mentioned
that she is in the studio recording her new album that will
be out in the quarter of this remaining year.Possibly early
next year!!
Paula sells her Beverly Hills home-
July 15, 1998. Paula Abdul sold her home to actor Tom
Arnold and his wife. Paula sold the house for 2.24 million
dollars. Paula bought the house in 1990 for 3.5 million
dollars.The five bedroom spanish style home had been on the
market for over a year.There have been no reports on where
Paula is residing at this time.
June 23, 1998-Paula to star in The Waiting Game-
On Saturday, August 8 at 9pm, Paula will be starring in her
new movie, The Waiting Game.The Waiting Game will be airing
on The Movie Channel. The movie is based on the best
selling novel Jayne Ann Krentz. Paula's co-stars are Chris
Potter from the primetime show Silk Stalkings, and Chandra

May 30, 1998- Paula's Greatest Hits Album-
Paula is comming out with a Greatest Hits album. It is to
be released after the release of her new album. An
allnewsingle willbe released as well.This album is going to
feature Paula's biggest hits. It is also going to feature
some new songs as well. One of the new songs is called "You
Got Me Wrong" which is written by singer/songwriter
Jennifer Marks.It was also co-written by Peter Bliss. it is
an uptempo song that Marks and Bliss wrote for Paula in
mind."I thought it was appropriate because the media seems
to have a field day with her personal life. I figured this
could be a way for her to tell them off a little." Marks
replies. Check your local record stores for a release date
in your area.
Paula on Saturday Night Live-
On May 9, 1998, Paula made a cameo appearance on Saturday
Night Live.She did a hilarious scene with the Spartan
Cheerleaders and David Duchovny. It was the shows' season
finale.The episode was shown as a re-run on July 4th.
Paula files for divorce-
On March 10, 1998 Paula filed for divorce from
her husband Brad Beckerman.Paula filed for irreconcilable
differences.A source close to Paula said that "Brad treated
the marriage like a business deal." The Source close to
Paula also said that Paula really fell in love.This was the
second marriage for Paula who was married to actor Emilio
Estevez from 1992-1994. Paula has reported that she is
doing fine and is back to work on her new album, and other
projects as well.
Paula on Muppets Tonight-
On December 1997, Paula appears on the show
Muppets Tonight.The episode never aired on CBS where the
show was canceled from the network.The Disney Channel
picked up the show and the long awaited episode finally
aired.
Paula signs with new Record Label-
On November 1997, Paula Abdul leaves Virgin
Records to sign a multi-million dollar contract with
Mercury/Polygram Records.She is currently in the studio
recording a new album. Mercury Records does not currently
have a release date set on the new album. Paulas' former
Record company, Virgin Records, is releasing a Greatest
Hits album.It is scheduled to be released in August or
September.
